St. 云州 University has many scholarships available for new-entering transfer students with strong academic credentials. These scholarships help our transfer students afford our already competitively priced tuition. In fact, Forbes ranks St. 云州 as one of its America’s Top Colleges.
There are over 500 different Huskies Scholarships available to SCSU students, with a wide variety of eligibility requirements. Here are just a few highlights specific to transfer students.
St. 云州 University reserves the right to correct clerical errors. These scholarships may not be applied to Accelerated Online Programs.
红色的 & Black 转移 Scholarship is automatically awarded to high-achieving new-entering transfer students with a cumulative college GPA of 3.0或更高. The scholarship is awarded in amounts of $500 or $1,000 per year in fall and spring semesters based upon GPA and is renewable for an additional year if the required SCSU GPA is maintained. Students must be enrolled in 12 credits each semester to be eligible.
As the only school in Minnesota named to Phi Theta Kappa’s Honor Roll we are happy to offer our PTK Scholarship. 我们的 $500 PTK Scholarship is automatically awarded to new-entering transfer students who are Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society members. Students must be enrolled in 12 credits their first semester to be eligible.
Non-Resident Tuition Scholarships are awarded to students who do not qualify for in-state or reciprocity tuition (excluding J-1 and/or F-1 Student Visa status). Recipients pay the equivalent of in-state tuition. To qualify, applicants must provide evidence of a 3.0 grade point average in all college work, with a minimum of 24 transferable credits completed after high school.
New-entering transfer students who have previously been awarded the Workforce Development Scholarships and are entering a qualified St. 云州 program are now eligible to carry their scholarship over to SCSU for an additional year. The scholarship, funded by the Minnesota Legislature, provide free aid of $2,500 for the academic year.
To be considered for additional Foundation-Sponsored Scholarship Opportunities, which include 校友 Scholarships, new-entering and returning transfer students must complete the Huskies Scholarships application by the annual deadline noted on the Huskies Scholarships website.

This rate automatically reduces tuition costs for students coming to St. 云州 from other states to match Minnesota in-state tuition. Eligible for incoming first year students and incoming first year transfer students.
